SAE U.S.A - World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE)

CHICAGO, Oct. 16 – “Plant Your Roots in Greece,” the successful 10-year program that leads the Omogeneia effort to reforest lands devastated by fires in Greece, can now accept donations online through the website of the World Council of Hellenes SAE/USA.

“We have been testing online donations for over a month and we see that the system works perfectly well,” stated Ted G. Spyropoulos, president of SAE / USA and of “Plant Your Roots in Greece” which is under the auspices of SAE USA and the Hellenic American National Council and its president Manolis Velivasakis.

Supporters of the reforestation of Greece may contribute any amount they wish in American, Canadian, European, Australian or Japanese currencies easily through the use of a credit card online by accessing the SAE / USA website. All transactions and information are secured by PayPal. Donors receive certificate by mail.

To donate go to website www.saeusa.org and enter the amount you wish to contribute at the appropriate box in the right-hand column of the home page.  You click approval and continue by proceeding to the next page where you enter the required information. The amount contributed is transferred electronically to “Plant Your Roots in Greece.”  Every contribution, 100%, goes to reforestation because no administrative expenses are deducted.
