PAN-MACEDONIAN ASSOCIATION, INC. (U.S.A.)
HELLENIC AMERICAN NATIONAL COUNCIL (H.A.N.C.)
COUNCIL OF HELLENES ABROAD (S.A.E.-U.S.A.)

MACEDONIA, THE LAND OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT, IS THE NORTHERN PROVINCE OF GREECE AND HAS BEEN HELLENIC FOR MILLENIA

Dear President Bush,
Teaching and promoting DEMOCRACY is indeed a noble endeavor.
NATION BUILDING ON FALSEHOODS
AND STOLEN IDENTITY IS NOT!

 Historic Integrity, Truth, Justice,
the multitudinous, creative and dynamic Hellenism of America,
proud descendents of the ancient Hellenes who introduced DEMOCRACY to the world
and the current members of the Hellenic Diaspora
component of our unique AMERICAN KALEIDOSCOPE
that helped shape the U.S.A. as the greatest Democracy in the world
respectfully request that you advise the visiting Honorable Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki of FYROM:

1. That, FYROM must restore to its people their rightful and proud Slavic, Albanian, Bulgarian and other ethnic identities.
2. That, historically Macedonia has always been part of the Hellenic World. It is counterproductive, undemocratic, non-factual, unethical, untrue, thus, un-American to try to change this fact for political expediencies of any kind.
3. That, their previous name “Vardarska” is deemed to be a more appropriate and representative name for this country; a name that would eliminate many internal and external conflicts of the country.

The United States can play a positive and very significant role in the harmonious co-existence between Greece and FYROM and bring peace in the Balkans. FYROM can benefit greatly by Greece’s support in its efforts to realize its economic growth and sustainable development.

The name “Macedonia”, however, is an indisputable part of Greece's historic and cultural legacy and the Hellenic world will never give up its ownership.
