World SAE consists of 7 Regions: USA, Western Europe, Canada, Oceania, Central & South America, Africa/Middle East, The Newly Independent States in Eastern Europe (Russia and other states of the former Soviet Union). Representatives from all regions worldwide, an approximately 450-member delegation, elect the new president, secretary and treasurer at the World Assembly every four years. The Presidium of World SAE consists of a President, the 7 Coordinators, a Treasurer, a Secretary and a Vice President for Cypriots Abroad. Regional SAEs are incorporated in the countries where they are based as not-for-profit, non-governmental organizations. Each Region elects its own Coordinator and Regional Coordinating Council at a Regional Assembly every four years, before the World Assembly is held. The Coordinator heads the district and Presides over the Regional Coordinating Council. The latest Regional Assembly was held in November 2006 in New York.
